The Swimathon Foundation is the charity behind the world's biggest fundraising swim, Swimathon and owners of Marathon Swims..
In their 30 year history, Swimathon swimmers have raised an incredible £50 million for such well known charities as Marie Curie, Sport Relief, Macmillan Cancer Support, NSPCC, The British Heart Foundation and The Prince's Trust.
The Swimathon Foundation also supports smaller organisations that are involved with local swimming projects through its Community Grants scheme. In the past a variety of initiatives, including swimming programmes for those with special needs, participation schemes by youth groups, clubs for the elderly, swimming clubs and disability groups have all benefitted from its support.
Alzheimer's Society is the official charity partner of Marathon Swims 2023.
